Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, and Mary-Anne O’Neill MP, State Member for Kallangur, would like to make people aware that as part of the Bligh Government’s ongoing accountability and integrity reform drive the Premier, Attorney-General, and a panel of experts will take part in a live web chat to answer questions from members of the public.

“Premier Anna Bligh, Attorney General, Cameron Dick, and Members of the Integrity and Accountability Roundtable will be part of the web Q&A forum on September 2 at 1.30pm for one hour and September 7 at 6.30pm for one hour,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“I encouraged anyone interested in asking a question to get online and get involved.”

“We are leading the nation in our integrity and accountability drive,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“Good government involves listening to the community - a limitless source of ideas and inspiration. And through this web forum, people can ask the questions that are on their mind,” Mary-Anne O’Neill MP said.

“We have also launched a Green Paper which will help shape future accountability and integrity reforms - and members of the public are invited to lodge submissions.”

“I urge locals to get involved and have their say.”

Anyone interested in submitting a question, or finding out more about the online web chat, or making a submission to the Green Paper should go to: http://www.premiers.qld.gov.au

The online web forum will take place with the support of the Queensland University of Technology.

Questions will be looked at by an independent moderator - and a selection put to the panel. Green Paper submissions close on September 16.
