Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is happy to announce that many community groups and organisations have received funding from the latest round of Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grants.
“The Gambling Community Benefit Fund allows the government to support the important work of not-for-profit organisations by enhancing services, leisure activities and opportunities through grant funding,” Carolyn Male MP said.
In the latest funding round, Pine Rivers received more than $154,000 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. Recipients include the following organisations;
• Dayboro Bowls Club ($13,694)
• Earthlink ($9,507)
• Endeavour Foundation - Respite for Older Carers ($29,950)
• Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association Inc ($28,500)
• Pine Rivers BMX Club Inc (13,072)
• Pine Rivers State High School P & C Association ($26,133)
• Queensland Police Citizens Youth Welfare Association - Pine Rivers - ($25,027)
• Queensland Society of Model and Experimental Engineers Inc - ($9,080).
The Gambling Community Benefit Fund provides one-off grants of up to $30,000 to not-for-profit organisations throughout Queensland.
