Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is happy to announce that six community organisations in Pine Rivers are amongst 478 groups to share in over $9 million of grant funding from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
“The Gambling Community Benefit Fund allows the government to support the important work of not-for-profit organisations by enhancing services, leisure activities and opportunities through grant funding,” Carolyn Male MP said.
In the latest funding round, Pine Rivers received more than $80,000 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. Recipients include the following organisations;
- South Pine Community Kindergarten and Preschool Association for construction of a shade cover $30,000
- Pine Central Holy Spirit Rugby League Football Club to install seating and shade structure $18,079
- South Pine Sports Association to upgrade training room equipment $12,123
- Dayboro Community Kindergarten and Preschool Association to purchase copier, carpet, furniture and bike racks $10,668
- Albany Creek Excelsior Netball Club to purchase Office Equipment $4,835
- Australian Red Cross - Strathpine Training Servicesto purchase coffee makers and tools $4,542
The Gambling Community Benefit Fund provides one-off grants of up to $30,000 to not-for-profit organisations throughout Queensland.
