Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is happy to announce that six community organisations in Pine Rivers are amongst 478 groups to share in over $9 million of grant funding from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

“The Gambling Community Benefit Fund allows the government to support the important work of not-for-profit organisations by enhancing services, leisure activities and opportunities through grant funding,” Carolyn Male MP said.

In the latest funding round, Pine Rivers received more than $152,700 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. Recipients include the following organisations;
- The Scout Association of Australia Queensland Branch, Dayboro Scout Group to upgrade facility - $31 850
- Endeavour Foundation to purchase compactor - $27 272
- Crime Stoppers Queensland to hold state training conference - $27 272
- Lawnton Kindergarten and Preschool Association to replace fence and purchase display board - $22 130
- Albany Creek GPS Junior Rugby Union Club to purchase seating - $17 127

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund provides one-off grants of up to $30,000 to not-for-profit organisations throughout Queensland.
