Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is happy to announce that more than $216,000 will be provided to Pine Rivers community groups in the latest round of Queensland Government gaming grants.
“The Gambling Community Benefit Fund allows the government to support the important work of not-for-profit organisations by enhancing services, leisure activities and opportunities through grant funding,” Carolyn Male MP said.
In the latest funding round, recipients include the following organisations;
- The Railway Modellers’ Club of Queensland to install a Shed - $34 128
- Act 1 Theatre to install air conditioning and seating - $33 044
- The Young Men’s Christian Association of Brisbane - YMCA War Memorial Camp Warrawee to upgrade amenities block - $27 273
- The Young Men’s Christian Association of Brisbane - Strathpine YMCA Early Childhood Centre to Purchase furniture and education resources - $27 195
- Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland - Child and Family Support Services,to develop playground area - $26 543
- Albany Creek Gymnastics Club to purchase gymnastics matting - $23 922
- The Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust - Anam Cara Aged Care - Wesley Mission Brisbane, to establish outdoor living space - $21 200
- Pine Rivers Pumas Rugby Union Club to purchase medical and AV equipment - $19 681
- The Corporation of the Trustees of the Order of the Sisters of Mercy in Queensland - Earthlink, to purchase oven and IT equipment - $3 390
