Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is pleased to announce that Bray Park State School has received $36,559 of funding under the Queensland Government’s Smart Schools Subsidy Scheme.

“Bray Park State School has received funding for a concertina door and whiteboard installation,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“This funding is great news for the students, parents and teachers from Bray Park State School,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“This investment in school infrastructure is part of the Bligh Government’s commitment to supporting and creating Queensland jobs.”

“We have had to make the hard decisions to keep our building program going, to deliver modern facilities to keep people in jobs.”

“This is just not an investment in providing modern teaching and learning environments - it’s an investment in protecting Queensland jobs during tough economic times.”

Diane Hall, President of Bray Park State School P&C has thanked the Queensland Government for their continual support, “This approval is fantastic for our school. The P & C has committed $20 000 to support the school with this project to advance other upgrades to classrooms throughout the school. State Government funding is very much appreciated.”

“We are transforming our schools with these projects because we know having 21st Century facilities and technology will help us improve student achievement,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“We want to see Queensland students up there with the best.”
