Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, is inviting people with a disability and their families, friends and carers to share their experience of disability through the community awareness initiative ‘Share your Story’.

Carolyn Male MP said that Share your Story invites people to submit their own stories to help build awareness, improve understanding and help to create a more welcoming and inclusive community for everyone.

“Twelve stories will be chosen to feature in 2010 Share your Story calendar, while others will be featured on the department’s website throughout 2010.”

“The 2009 Share your Story calendar was very popular and I am pleased that we are able to conduct the initiative again this year.”

Entries for the Share your Story calendar are to be entered by 2 October 2009.
