Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, would like to make people aware that a Public Information Forum will be held in Strathpine regarding the South East Queensland Climate Change Management Plan.

“This forum will be conducted Monday 17 August 2009, at the Strathpine Community Centre, 199 Gympie Road Strathpine from 5.30pm to 7pm,” Carolyn Male MP said.

“The Climate Change Management Plan describes actions to implement the climate change policies of the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031.”

“The State Government is asking members of the public to tell them whether the proposed actions outlined in the Climate Change Management Plan are in fact priority actions that should be pursued and whether there are any additional actions that should be considered.”

“If you would like to attend this forum please book your place by sending an email with your name and telephone number to planning@dip.qld.gov.au no later than Thursday 13 August.”
